This four-part video series covers the topics outlined in the National Science Education Standards, AAAS Benchmarks for Science Literacy and major texts. The Earth, Sun and Moon, video explores the Earth, Sun and Moon’s characteristics, the shape of the Earth, its rotation on its axis and Earth’s revolution round the sun. The Inner Planets video highlights the fascinating features of Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars, as well as the nebular hypothesis and the general layout of the solar system. The Outer Planets explores the features of the outer planets through an animated trip to the outer reaches of our solar system. The Amazing Universe explores the fascinating features of the universe, different types of galaxies in our solar system, and the position of our solar system in the Milky Way.

Each interactive video is followed by a 10-question Video Quiz and is accompanied by a teacher-friendly guide containing numerous student activities and assessment tools. Extra features on the DVD include indexes, labeled slides, glossary, animations, English subtitles, and an iMovie project.
