Full Review

This four-part video series covers the topics outlined in the National Science Education Standards, AAAS Benchmarks for Science Literacy and major texts. The Early Life program explores the current scientific theories explaining possible processes by which Earth was formed. The Life Through Time program takes students on a journey through time as the history of life on Earth is explored. In Evolution students will travel to the Galapagos Islands to learn about Charles Darwin’s theory of natural selection and the major concepts of the theory of evolution. In Evidence of Change the different types of evidence which support the theory of evolution are discussed.

Each interactive video is followed by a 10-question Video Quiz and is accompanied by a teacher-friendly guide containing numerous student activities and assessment tools. Extra features on the DVD include indexes, labeled slides, glossary, animations, English subtitles, and an iMovie project.
