This four-part video series covers the topics outlined in the National Science Education Standards, AAAS Benchmarks for Science Literacy and major texts. The Bones and Muscles video explores the characteristics of the skeletal and muscular system. Circulation and Respiration discusses the importance of monitoring the cardiovascular system and explains the process of respiration in the body. The Digestion and Excretion program explains these processes, as well as the categories of nutrients. In Nervous and Endocrine Systems students will learn about the three main types of neurons and how they travel through the body’s nerve network.
