Brian has taught science in the classroom for over five years, in both public and private schools. He taught students in rural and urban settings – gaining him an excellent foundation in the necessary skills and materials needed to teach diverse student groups.
In addition to teaching, he was the coordinator for the JASON Project at the National Geographic Society in Washington DC for seven years. In this capacity he led countless teacher workshops in the DC Metro area – helping them to understand and to teach the scientific concepts in each JASON Expedition. Before starting Visual Learning Company, Brian also produced numerous freelance educational videos. |
