This four-part series covers the topics outlined in the National Science Education Standards, AAAS Benchmarks for Science Literacy and major texts. The Safety in Science video demonstrates safe practices and avoiding accidents in science when conducting even the simplest of activities. The Measuring in Science video explains many of the different ways measurement occurs in science including measuring length, mass, volume and temperature. Your Science Fair Project program explains the scientific method, and describes the process of creating a successful science fair project. The Observations and Data program highlights different ways observations are made, emphasizing methods by which students can observe their world.

Each interactive video is followed by a 10-question Video Quiz and is accompanied by a teacher-friendly guide containing numerous student activities and assessment tools. Extra features on the DVD include indexes, labeled slides, glossary, animations, English subtitles, and an iMovie project.
